Congratulation to you and the management.
Q1) Is the disposition of Batu Pahat land from Kim Kang still ongoing?
Q2) Qian Hu had successful transform its business to diversify its market and business activities. What is the percentage of net profit earning to distribute back to shareholders?
Hi Shock Chien,
Thank you very much for your kind words regarding our new business venture.
Q1) We still hold a piece of land from Kim Kang and will dispose the land when the time is right.
Q2) The transformation has just begun. It is our management's policy to pay out dividend annually. However, we will only resume paying out dividend once we've ascertained the rate of expansion for our new business and cash flow position.
Happy New Year!

Dear Shirley Hoo, you wrote:
Will you be raising funds via debt issuance, rights issue or private placement to fund your new edible fish farm business?
Hi Shirley,
According to our internal budgeting and projections made, we believe we can fund the expansion from our cash flow and perhaps include some bank borrowings. We have no intention to raise fund from the market yet.
Happy New Year!

Dear George Sim, you wrote:
This is the first time Qian Hu is not paying a dividend since its IPO. You promised dividend as long as the company turn in a profit. Will dividend resume next year?
Hi George,
Yes, this is the first time since listing Qian Hu is not paying out dividend. We have explained the rationale of not paying out dividend this year in our financial announcement. This was due to cash utilised for renewal of the land leases in Singaore for another 10 years which upfront payment was required. We are also trying to reserve financial resources for our new business venture. We will resume paying dividends once we ascertained the rate of expansion for our new business and cash flow position.
Happy New Year!

How did you find your partner in China for the edible fish business?
Hi Paul,
We've known our partner for more than twenty years. They are specialised in herbal medications and plant extract treatment of fish and we have been collaborating with them on this aspect for some time.
Happy New Year!
